Forever Ago is a journey that showcases a complex subject, and it’s great to see more games discussing those heavy topics. Even so, the journey here feels subpar in its exploration of the subject, not digging far enough to convey Alfred’s inner journey in a more personal angle. The end result is shallow, but it will probably still find an audience that empathizes with the circumstances it presents.
